Toundra

Madrid's Toundra began their journey in 2007. Their sound combines powerful riffs, beautiful melodies and intricate atmospheres, all wrapped in spacious, electrically packed songs that emphasize the incandescent flame of the band's live performance. This proposal quickly led them to become one of the most applauded instrumental bands in Europe. Hex (Inside Out Music / Sony, 2022), his award-winning seventh album, reached No. 1 on the vinyl sales charts and reached No. 4 on the global charts. They have also experimented with the narrative ambition with the soundtrack of the classic Das cabinet des Dr. Caligari (1920) and with flamenco in the company of Niño de Elche in the Exquirla project. After a two-year break, Toundra is in his most personal and courageous stage with the self-release of the album Siete. The group explores a freer sound with a more prominent use of analogue electronics and synthetic textures.
