Sara Dowling

Palestinian-Irish jazz singer, named Best Vocalist at the 2019 British Jazz Awards. Initially trained as a classical cellist, her musical experiences led her to discover her voice and her passion for improvisation. Thus, she emerged as a powerful and expressive jazz performer, as well as a composer, influenced by figures such as Betty Carter and Sarah Vaughan. He has performed in important festivals in the Valencian Community, Spain and Europe such as Novembre Jazz UPV (Valencia), Jazztardor (Lleida), San Javier, San Sebastián Jazzaldia and the British Jazz Festival. He has collaborated with figures such as Michael Kanan, Bruce Barth, Albert Sanz, Andrea Pozza, Terrell Stafford, Jason Rebello, Steve Brown, Ross Stanley and Mátyás Gayer.
