Rüdiger

Following two albums and an EP acclaimed on both sides of the border, Rüdiger announces the release of a new record: Love Is a Muscle (Usopop). Through his songs, he explores love -its experience, absence, and memory- and the need to exercise it in order to regenerate, grow, and prevent atrophy. In an era of division and isolation, love -whether for others or for oneself- is perceived as a force of struggle and resistance, of openness and acceptance. Used to reflect a world and civilization teetering on the brink, Rüdiger’s lyrics and music take on a new clarity in this third LP. He offers a luminous take on his signature style, blending folk, rock, electronic music, and introspective songwriting to allow diverse worlds to coexist on a single record. The album evokes the musical universes of the Beatles, Neil Young, Low, Kurt Vile, and MGMT, yet never feels like a mere stylistic exercise.
This concert is possible thanks to the collaboration with NICDO, the Navarran Music Comission.
