Nacho Casado

Nacho Casado is a singer, guitarist, composer and producer from Elx. He was part of La Familia del Árbol and began his solo career in 2018. He has released several albums in Spain and Japan, has performed in different European countries and has collaborated with artists such as Damien Jurado, Neil Halstead or Parade. His music combines habaneras, English folk, Valencian song, Brazilian music and the pop tradition of the sixties, all filtered by a deeply Mediterranean authorial sensibility. Now he presents Canciones del Mar, a project that explores the relationship between landscape, memory and identity through song. The album delves into the connections between the Mediterranean tradition, Valencian culture and a contemporary author's gaze, incorporating Valencian as a natural part of this creative universe. With an intimate proposal based on voice, guitar and soundscapes, each piece vindicates the song as a space of proximity, emotion and encounter with the listener.
