Brighton 64

“Brighton 64 has been a way of life for us, and we have numerous proofs, indelible and constant, that it has been for you too”. These were some of the words used by the Barcelona band Brighton 64 to announce their farewell. This goodbye comes after more than two decades of career, in two different periods, in which the band’s founders, brothers Albert and Ricky Gil, have unleashed their passion for the British mod scene. Songs such as “Barcelona Blues”, “La casa de la bomba”, “El mejor cocktail” are part of a legacy that has continued with more recent compositions such as “Solo hasta el final”, “Juez y parte” and “En mi ciudad”. These are songs that are played in the concerts of the band’s last tour, Se traspasa, also the title of their final record.
