Anna Ferrer

Menorcan artist Anna Ferrer sings, composes, and deconstructs melodies from other times. She tends to and gathers songs of popular origin, and in that process, she demystifies them and makes them universal. In this way, her music is inspired by tradition but evolves toward her own soundscapes, crossed by synthesizers. After works such as Tel·lúria (2017), Krönia (2019) and Parenòstic (2024), and collaborations with artists like Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Marco Mezquida, Eliseo Parra, Clara Peya, Clara Fiol, or Niño de Elche, the artist presents PA (La Castanya, 2026). It is a project born from the need to ritualize the passing down of the family trade. After a deep digestion of this heritage, Anna Ferrer has decided not to continue the baking tradition and instead do with music what her family has done with bread.
