Sanguijuelas del Guadiana

A group formed by three friends from Extremadura who, in their early twenties, decided to give shape and name to those gatherings with instruments that they had done for fun as children. Raised in the heart of Extremaduran Siberia, they spent their childhood playing in the streets, making houses out of pallets, participating in local festivities and having their first contact with music in the municipal band of their town: Casas de Don Pedro. These experiences awakened in them a passion for music that evolved into entire afternoons performing in their own way songs from Extremoduro, Triana, Estopa and Nirvana, among others. Despite separating for a while, the musical project that they were so passionate about never took a back seat. Finally, they decided to return to the town with a firm purpose: to solidify their training and dedicate themselves to composing their songs. Thus, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana is the result of this return to their roots, a commitment to authenticity and commitment to music and dreams.

This concert is the result of the collaboration between Fira Trovam and the Professional Music Conferences in Extremadura.
