Pantaje

It is worth thinking of “pantaje” as an old and disappeared word, a furious room in black and white or simply the effort of four guys to sing the secret terrors of the heart, the sport of exposing shame like a sheet on a clothesline in front of the neighbors opposite. A handful of songs for a handful of coins, as has always happened since the wizards invented rock’n’roll. In this way, Pantaje is a rock band in Spanish formed by Juan Salvador (guitar), Pau García-Serra (drums), Julio Fuertes (vocals and guitar) and Pablo Pérez (bass), members and ex-members of Valencian bands such as Santero y Los Muchachos, La Hora del Té, The Kojaks or Johnny B. Zero. The project is the result of their interest in making their own songs, taking advantage of the fitness and shared interests that have given them hosting (every week for four years) the jam at the 16 Toneladas venue in Valencia.
