Borja Penalba

Giròvag (Blau-Discmedi, 2024) is Borja Penalba's first solo album.

For over three decades, the Valencian musician has devoted himself to music—always creating songs, setting them to music, arranging, producing, performing, and sharing them. He has worked in countless recording studios and on stages worldwide, recording albums and touring alongside numerous artists such as Feliu Ventura, Miquel Gil, Lluís Llach, and Obrint Pas.

In the past decade, he has collaborated closely with Maria del Mar Bonet and Mireia Vives. Now, with Giròvag, Borja Penalba steps into the spotlight alone, presenting a deeply personal work. In this album, his voice soars, accompanied by his trusty guitar.
