Alba Careta i Henrio

The jazz trumpeter and singer Alba Careta and singer-songwriter and producer Henrio take center stage in Udolç, the third album in the Càntut. Cançons de tradició oral collection. This project, launched in 2012, aims to collect and share the oral musical heritage of the Girona region.
In this case, the duo reimagines twelve lullabies with delicate arrangements of their own creation. The selected melodies come from the Càntut at Schools: Hunting and Singing Songs initiative and the research conducted by students from Cassà de la Selva during the 2021–22 school year. Through this process, over one hundred lullabies from various cultures present in the Gironès region were collected.
Additionally, Alba Careta and Henrio have incorporated four poems by Enric Casasses, recited by the poet himself, with themes inspired by the night, sleep, and dreams.
This concert is the result of a collaboration between Fira Trovam and the Fira de Música Emergent i Familiar de Vila-Seca.
